The Berwyns are really high level moorlands rather than high mountains. The most popular walking area of the Berwyns is the Berwyn Ridge, which gives rise to spectacular views across Snowdonia. The Berwyns lie just outside of the Snowdonia National Park. The highest and most distinctive summit is Cadair Berwyn. The highest waterfall in Wales is found here, known as Pistyll Rhaeadr.
Pictured above is the area near to Pistyll Rhaeadr.
