The gardens are 80 acres in size and are now owned by the National Trust. It is noted for its varieties of rhododendrons and azaleas and its collections of magnolia, camelia, clematis and hydrangea. Bodnant Gardens overlook the River Conwy and are not far from our cottage if Betws-y-Coed.
