The Capel Garmon chambered tomb is a good example of a Neolithic tomb built in the Cotswold-Severn style. It lies on the eastern side of the upper Conwy Valley. The tomb consists of two chambers, orignally covered by a large oblong stone cairn which was kerbed with a dry-stone wall forming a horned forecourt and where ceremonies were performed.
