Iwe have installed a top of the range combined Sauna and Steamroom in the mezzanine bathroom.
The heat and humidity of a steam room or sauna causes the pores in your skin to open, softening and cleansing the skin and improving blood circulation. The sweat induced carries excess salts, linked to hypertension, as well as toxins including heavy metals such as copper, lead, zinc and mercury out from deep within the body. A 15 minute sauna or steam session can remove as much heavy metals as your kidneys would in 24 hours. Saunas and steam rooms also help clear your respiratory system and reduce congestion; these benefits as well as others can be further improved by the use of essential oils or loose herbs. Sweating also draws out lactic acid which causes stiff muscles and contributes to general fatigue. Sweating is incredibly good for the skin, properly cared for skin is better able to resist eczema, athlete's foot, pimples and blackheads. |
