Betws-y-Coed is the centre for many nearby outdoor activities and places to visit. These include Snowdon, the Devil's Kitchen, Llyn Ogwen, Penmachno, Castles, Burial Chambers, Stone Age settlements, many attractive villages with foklore tales associated to them, rivers, waterfalls, and so on.
