The Swallow Falls, the highest continuous waterfall in Wales, chases down the River Llugwy, just outside of Betws-y-Coed, and is considered to be one of the loveliest places in North Wales. The river is divided into a number of foaming cascades by the numerous crags and rocks that obstruct its path.
Swallow Falls is one of the most visited of Snowdonia's attractions.
